When I sat down with my mom to think about the main character's name, we knew it had to hold some meaning. The entire book is based on experiences that I have had with my mom. I knew that I did not want the main character to be named after me (I might have main character energy, but that is too much attention lol).
We both looked at each other and knew immediately that her name would be Julia. But why Julia? My mom's middle name is Julia. My grandparents gave her that middle name after her grandfather Julious. One of my older cousin's middle name is Julia after my mom's.
Everything about this book is to highlight the enjoyment that comes from family and simplicity. We have been super intentional with every aspect of this story. It is almost time to share A Day with Mom with you all!
